COLOMBO, October 3, 2026 — Pan Asia Banking Corporation PLC has secured strong investor demand for its Rs. 5 billion senior listed rated unsecured redeemable debenture issue, with the offering being oversubscribed following its opening.

The strong response highlights continued investor appetite for fixed-income instruments and confidence in the bank’s credit profile, as Pan Asia Bank moves to raise long-term funding through the capital market.

The debentures, each carrying a par value of Rs. 100, will be listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE). The issue comprises three-year and five-year debentures, offering annual interest rates of 12.75% and 13.50%, respectively.

The issue has been assigned a BBB+ (Stable) rating by Lanka Rating Agency, reflecting the credit assessment of the instrument.

The debenture issue was managed by the Investment Banking Unit of Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC, while SSP Corporate Services (Private) Limited serves as the Registrar to the Issue.

Pan Asia Bank said the strong investor response demonstrates continued confidence in the bank and its strategy of creating long-term value for stakeholders.

The successful capital-market issue provides the bank with additional long-term funding capacity as it continues to expand its role in meeting the financing requirements of Sri Lankan individuals and businesses.

The transaction also comes amid continued activity in Sri Lanka’s banking and capital markets, with financial institutions increasingly turning to debt-market instruments to strengthen funding bases and support future lending and business growth.

Pan Asia Bank, which operates under the positioning “The Truly Sri Lankan Bank,” continues to focus on supporting the financial needs of businesses and individuals while contributing to wider economic activity.
