DFCC Bank Partners with John Keells IT to Enhance Employee Banking Benefits

DFCC Bank has partnered with John Keells IT to introduce its Employee Banking Proposition to the company’s employees, providing access to a broader selection of financial solutions, exclusive privileges and services tailored to their individual and family requirements.
The partnership was formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and covers a range of benefits, including enhanced salary account privileges, personal and housing loans, credit and wealth management solutions, family-oriented financial services, lifestyle benefits and digital banking facilities.
The DFCC Employee Banking Proposition goes beyond the traditional salary account by offering support throughout different stages of an employee’s financial journey. From managing daily expenses and purchasing a home to building wealth and preparing for future family needs, John Keells IT employees can access a range of financial solutions through a single banking relationship.
As part of the partnership, DFCC Bank will also work closely with the John Keells IT Human Resources team to identify the requirements of different employee groups, connect them with appropriate financial solutions and streamline selected banking processes related to payroll and employee services.
Asitha Pinnaduwa, Vice President and Head of Products and Propositions, Retail and Business Banking at DFCC Bank PLC, said, “Employee banking is evolving well beyond the conventional salary account. Employees increasingly expect financial solutions that reflect their lifestyles, ambitions and family needs, while organisations are placing greater emphasis on employee financial wellbeing. Through our partnership with John Keells IT, we are bringing these priorities together in a proposition that creates practical and lasting value for employees and the organisation.”
Digital convenience remains a key component of the proposition, enabling employees to access and manage their banking services with greater ease. The initiative will also include targeted employee engagement and communication programmes to help John Keells IT employees better understand and benefit from the financial solutions available to them.
The collaboration forms part of DFCC Bank’s continued efforts to expand its employee banking ecosystem through partnerships with leading organisations across Sri Lanka. By offering services that extend beyond basic salary processing, the bank aims to establish long-term financial relationships with employees as their financial responsibilities, goals and aspirations change over time.
