Asia Asset Finance Raises Rs. 1.5 Billion Through Rights Issue

Sri Lanka’s Asia Asset Finance PLC has raised approximately Rs. 1.5 billion through a rights issue, strengthening its capital base as the company moves forward with its business expansion plans.

The company has listed 45,162,012 new ordinary voting shares on the Colombo Stock Exchange following the successful completion of the rights issue.

The shares were issued at Rs. 33.30 each, with shareholders offered four new shares for every 11 existing shares. The issue generated approximately Rs. 1.504 billion in proceeds.

The latest capital raising represents a significant corporate development for Asia Asset Finance and is expected to provide additional financial capacity for the company as it continues to expand its operations.
