EDOTCO Sri Lanka has signed a US$10 million investment agreement with the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka (BOI) to expand the country’s digital infrastructure, marking another significant investment in the telecommunications sector.

The agreement is expected to support the expansion and development of telecommunications infrastructure across Sri Lanka, helping strengthen the country’s digital connectivity and support the growing demand for reliable communications services.

The investment comes as Sri Lanka continues to attract private-sector capital into infrastructure and technology-related projects as part of its broader economic recovery efforts.

The expansion of digital infrastructure is expected to benefit businesses and consumers by supporting improved connectivity and providing the infrastructure needed for the continued growth of digital services.

The agreement also highlights the increasing role of technology and telecommunications infrastructure in Sri Lanka’s economic development, particularly as businesses accelerate their adoption of digital platforms and services.

The latest investment adds to a series of recent initiatives aimed at strengthening Sri Lanka’s investment environment and expanding infrastructure capable of supporting long-term economic growth.
